Red Fruit Juice for Cancer Alternative Medicine
Red fruit or Pandanus Conoideus Lam is native to Papua, Indonesia. The color of the fruit is red (merah in Indonesian) and that is why people of Indonesia call it buah merah (red fruit). Papuans call the fruit kuansu while people of Papua New Guinea call it Marita. The fruit mostly grows in Papua highland and mountain area such as Jaya Wijaya Mountain, Manokwari, Nabire, Timika, and more. The fruit could grow in different places but it may not contain the same substances with one grow at the highland.
The people of Papua have been using this fruit as medicine for eye diseases, skin diseases, and more. Then, a study found the fruit is rich of antioxidant such as karoten, tokoferol, betakaroten, omega 3, omega 6, and more substances that could help people to fight cancer or at least to slow the grow of cancer. Therefore, red fruit is believed to be useful as alternative medicine for cancer. In Indonesia, red fruit supplements are widely produced and consumed. So far, many people feel the benefit.
To get the benefit of red fruit, people take the oil. However, only ripped fruit about 3-4 months old could be used for high level of active substances and the process should not use high temperature that could increase levels of peroxide inside the oil. Filtering as the last process to take the oil is very important. Three-time filtering is recommended to get the pure oil. To store the oil, people need to keep it away from direct sunlight that may reduce betakaroten level inside it.
As a supplement to cure cancer, it is recommended to take 1 spoon of red fruit oil 2-3 times a day. When taking the supplement, people should not take aspirin and several medicines that could dilute blood since tokoferol inside the fruit has the same effect that double effects would be dangerous for the body.
