Joan Van Ark could be listed in the chart of bad female actress plastic surgery. The Knots Landing star appears with a very scary look after leaving her fans off the air for a long time. There is no doubt that many fans curious to what she has done to her face during off the screen.
Joan has not talked to the public about her job, but many speculates that she has undergone some surgery procedures in combination with a strange makeup application. If we are taking a look closer at her recent photo, it seems that she has numerous surgery such as a facelift, eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty), a nose job (Rhinoplasty), lip augmentation, fat grafting, Botox, chemical peels and brow lift as well.
Joan’s facial appearance has dramatically changed, her face looks unnaturally smooth and a little bit sheeny, it is possible that she has an excessive Botox injection in combination with laser treatment. The hollowed out on Joan’s upper eyes could be the result of a brow lift and eyelid surgery (Blepharoplasty). In addition, if we are comparing her nose before and after plastic surgery, it seems that her new nose is getting thinner and shorter than before, it indicates that she possibly has a nose job too.
A woman at her age usually experiences some wrinkles or sagging skin around her neck, but it is not a problem at all for Joan, her neck looks less of wrinkles or sagging skin. Her neckline also looks impossibly sharp at 69 years-old, it leads us to suspect her to have undergone a facelift. It is also possible that she has a facial fat grafting, as the evidence her cheeks appear somewhat puffy. Furthermore, her lips likely have been augmented from a Restylane.
Joan Van Ark is likely trying hard to enhance her appearance, but unfortunately not all of the procedures work for her. She looks so awful and overdone, I think she doesn’t need any kind of surgery at this time. If she still continues it, she will create herself caricature.
